Just booked my usual Eurotunnel ticket. Grin
Out on the 12th of June - back on the 16th. £98.00
I always seem to get the urge to book it between Christmas and New years eve.

I like your thinking...

1. Time booked off from work approved
2. Eurotunnel booked and paid.
3. Wife informed of travel dates.
4. Travelling companions hereby informed of booking.
5. Out Weds 11th June on the 10:50 Eurotunnel.  Back Monday 16th June 11:50 Eurotunnel
6. Hoping the slightly later departure allows for a (swift) visit to the supermarché before boarding the train.

Main holiday now moved from June (whose silly idea was that  Embarrassed)  Tickets for the Classic now booked

Must book the ferry.  DFDS to Calais are dam cheap for a caravan, but I think I'll do Portsmouth, as its easier.  Will try and get a discount.

With the offers available in UK supermarkets, it's probably now cheaper in the UK.

For those who plan ahead well (not me)

The Euro is at Euro 1.20 to £ at present (not sure the tourist rate is - about 1.18)

Might make thinks a bit cheaper (lol)
