I entered a Times newspaper draw to win a pair of tickets for Friday 2nd July, Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Winners were supposed to be notified on the 15th June, 9 days had passed and i hadn't heard anything so last Thursday I bought a pair of tickets from Ebay for my father and I.  I managed to find a pair at buy now price £24 for the pair. Sods law when I got home, there was a free pair through the letter box from the times. BUGGER ! Angry

I thought of trying to sell them on ebay but right away it was flooded with pages of free Times tickets for sale and to be honest they aren't fetching any real value so i would prefer they went to someone i know or a Club Arnage member instead for someone to make use of, and enjoy a day out next week.

There is one condition though, I will not part with them until the ones i bought on Ebay turn up at my dads place first, but I expect they will arrive registered post on Monday (tomorrow) anyway.

But once they turn up, I am happy to post them out to whoever wants them and can definately make use of them next Friday. So I can post them out either first class on Tuesday at my expense, or if the person who wants them, would like it sending registered, then all i ask is that you pay for the postage.

So there you have it, a free pair of tickets to the Festival of Speed for next friday. Face value £70 and a great day out.

Please make sure you can and will use them and anyone interested, please PM me via the forum. First come first served.

Regards
Chris Clark

PS. Now to the next headache, as some dumb ass managed to leave his mobile phone on the car roof today and lost his phone and all the numbers in it as a result. Roll Eyes Who does the best deals on a cheap phone these days, either pay as you go or something reasonable on monthly for £10 or less a  month ?

Ahhhh the benefits of having a phone which syncs to the cloud, where even if I smash my phone into a million bits (or leave it in a supermarket in Germany), everything I have, apps, photos, phone numbers etc etc, will all still be there......

And the best thing?  I can use my left hand to make a telephone call too Smiley

Just watched it and loved the way they were talking about Kerry Earnhardt smoking the tyres but showed pictures of Michael Waltrip instead ! D'oh ! At least they didn't do what the commentators did at Goodwood on the Friday morning and said " This is Kerry Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt's daughter. She drove here last year and has come back again this year !"  And no it wasn't Murray Walker doing the commentary.

Also in the FOS Tec display they were talking to some lady about the new Vauxhall but captioned her as being from Toyota ! Opps ! Grin
