Just checked the tent, three days before leaving.......and we are one pole section short!  Better to find out now than at Maison Blanche! Roll Eyes    (But where can it be - Arnage?)

Think it might be time to go and check the tent is ok, as still got time to buy a replacement if its not!

If there was room in the garage I'd move all the camping gear into it from the shed, to make for an easy Tuesday evening, however the garage appears to be full of crap so there isn't!

Woolly, Sausage, David and Will are at Newhaven waiting to board with Big Irta heading over to Dieppe.

She'll be the one with the 20 mile queue behind her on route through France.   Grin

The rest of us start arriving from Tuesday onwards.

See you all there.

Washed the car?  Huh Why would you want to wash the car for 700 km drive, so it will look just a unwashed when you arrive in France?

I'll spend my time on the painting that has the be done on the house, and throw some clothes in a bag Tuesdaynight. Grin Her-in-doors can do the rest, as SHE wants to bring HER tent and stuff. Fine by me!

Blimey everyone's legging it!

It does feel like Ive missed the boat a bit, - we're catching a late sausage in the tunnel on Thursday night, hoping to be in Blue Nord by 23:00, with a bit of luck, following wind and dry trousers if we're really lucky.

First time back for 3 or 4 years for me, so I reckon I've got some drinking to catch up on!

Thanks Barry, I'll keep an eye out for the bike.
If the weather doesn't pick up it'll have to be a gore-tex mankini under the leathers....
It's not much better in the jag, - the windscreen wipers work, but they don't actually do much wiping, they just sort of wave around in a panic, - I might see if I've got any rain-x lying around somewhere. I'll probably put some on my bollocks too if there's enough, I don't think it'll help much, but I just like doing it.
