Just received an email informing me that BF have opened up booking for Winter 2015 plus Spring/Summer 2016.

Their Economie fare between Portsmouth and Le Havre starts at £79 each way and a cabin for 2 is £85 one way.

I'm tempted to book.

Sounds like a reasonable deal if that's your route.

BF know their stuff.  The schedule doesn't allow you to get back on the cheaper ferry.

Will be BF from Pompey for sure but prob on the Tuesday night, leaving it to Travel Destinations too so nothing concrete until October when they get their pricing finalised.

So is that 2 passengers out and 22 back  Grin

I heard today that a garage went to collect an ex-pats mpv from the tunnel, to do an MOT, and send it back.  It had 8 passengers.  Shocked

Remember, it's only a Frogeye, I doubt I'd get more than 6 in at a time!

Booked!

Also out Portsmouth/Caen Tuesday night, back Caen/Portsmouth Sunday night.

Hoped it would be a bit cheaper booking early, but cannot see any signs.

On the day I got the email that bookings for 2016 were open I booked for friends since they were on holiday. It cost £303 overnight for the three with a cabin on the outward leg Wednesday, and yet there were no club seats available for the return Monday even though I booked on receipt of the email. All sold out. Very strange. The price will only go up as time progresses, but for the moment it's still the same.

I'm doing the JDC day at Prescott on the Sunday before Le Mans with the XKSS and was somewhat surprised to find that the 3 hour trip from Cherbourg to Portsmouth (return) was cheaper than the overnighter to Le Havre. With club seats I've paid £238 return, and while I know the outward leg is not a problem the return the Monday of Le Mans week might have been. Just a heads up for you looking for cheaper booking.

All these plans for next year, and the DVD of this year isn't out yet.

I'm impressed that both the JDC and BOC (Bugatti Owners Club who run Prescott) have got their act together so soon
