And I doubt the ACO could afford to run the race without paying customers anyway, so it will either run as "normal" or not at all I would have thought. I'm sure if they really needed to, they could still close the roads etc, but you're right that they'd probably not do it if they couldn't sell tickets. Not worth the aggro, unless the costs would be covered by TV rights or subscription streaming or the like. |

Found this, from Macron, last week Speaking in an address to the nation on Monday night, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the extension of nationwide lockdown until at least 11th May, as the country continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Public gatherings, restaurants, cafes and hotels, cinemas, theatres, halls and museums will remain closed at this stage. The big festivals and events with a big audience will not be able to occur until earliest mid-July. I did mine on line by just amending my booking. Brittany Ferries outbound Portsmouth to Caen on 17th September and return on 21st. Also £90 cheaper  Ditto - changed dates on the Pompey-Caen crossing, on the equivalent ferry - out Wednesday overnight, back Monday PM. £77 cheaper  Brittany Ferries presumably caught napping by the ACO... |

With the MeedJa talking about 12 week isolations, and mass gatherings being cancelled... that puts us into middle of June time. I'm increasingly thinking there's no way the race is going ahead  |

Clucking Bell - We (Evil Sam & me) are not going this year - 22 years of first going to Le Mans - this will only be my 2nd one I will miss! Due to family comitments (wedding) in Scotland, I can not get the pass to get to Le Mans this year, funny really, put our name down for tickets as soon as the race finised, booked the ferry the day after they were released, 1st time in my life I have been organised - and now can't go But don't worry, I shall have my Le Mans drinking trousers on and will be drink Loch Lomand beer and Whisky. Have a great time all - and We shall return 2020 ! WHAT THE WHAT?  You mean we'll need to elect a new camp commandant?? Take it easy, and make sure you smuggle a discrete earpiece into the wedding so you can listen to RLM coverage... As for this year, I'll be with the DfH massif along a gang of hangers on, including Mark, Dave, Paul +1 (aiming to better their arrival last year, where the-then 2 passengers had been drinking rum since before leaving blighty). |

To DFH, Neil, Dangerous, Steve, Andy et al... missing you already Marty.  There is still time.................. I will miss the great welcome we get when we get to site! Well to be honest your damn good red wine box as we roll in - we will all miss u As they say - "go on, go on, go on" Yeah, go on Martini! Poor kev_mk3 might have to shift his tickets and we'd love to have you back :-) |

I inadvertently bought 2 extra GE tickets so I now have a couple of physical ones going spare.
Either:
* 2 x general entry physical tickets - £100 + £7 special delivery for next day
OR
* 2 x digital tickets, emailed to you as a PDF to print yourself - £100
LMK if anyone wants them before they go on eBay, where a league of w**k*rs will try to scam me out of both money and tickets.

One of our number is having to pull out (baby due, pah, hasn't been very thoughtful with that one) so is looking to sell his tickets, ideally as one lot:
1 x Houx Annex camping (Q59) (face 69)
2 x Barnato Tribune (14) - row F 65-66 (face 75)
2 x General Entry (face 82)
Tickets were bought through an agency so paid a lot more than face value, but rather than the 384 / £340 they are marked as, he'd take £295 to help them on their way, including UK delivery
Can do cash on collection in the south east (Reading/London) or others TBA.
