Took my daughter to Thorpe Park on Friday and went on the new ride, "Stealth". It accelerates you from 0 to 80mph in 2.3 seconds, then sends you vertically 205 feet into the air, before going over the brow and doing a similar sheer drop.  Shocked Shocked

Highly recommended!!  Grin Grin

I'd also recommend going on a day that most schools are still open (Danielle's school was closed for an inset day). Hardly any queues and we therefore managed to do far more rides than normal (Stealth twice, Colossus three times and Nemesis Inferno nine times plus other minor rides) She worked it out in the car on the way home that we'd been upside down 66 times that day!  Lips Sealed  Smiley

Did you go on Rita - Queen of Speed. To give you an idea, that does 0 - 62.5mph in 2.5secs

Went to Cedar Park 5 years ago, great rides, good fun, each year they build a bigger and better.

Worth going, even it is in the center of USA

To be honest, I'm not sure the last picture belongs to the sequence above. It was sent to me this way. Actually, I doubt it but it could as well be a scene from the Poo Bar. Scary... Grin

I actually recall seeing a similarly distressed female on the bungee jump at LM in about 1998. The poor thing had been queueing for ages, and I guess nerves just had a bad effect. Some of the crowd got a spray they didn't expect as she bounced up and down...
