Don't worry, Brian, weekend forecast is yet to come!  One of the sites which dares to predict the weather 10 days ahead is predicting thunderstorms during the race.  But usually Meteo is pretty reasonable at these things.

the prediction from Wessex, is there will be plenty of weather for the complete week; 24 hours a day.  The days will be light and dark depending when the sun rises and sets.

apart from that I couldn't care less what ever it is we're going to have a bloody marvelous time and may even watch some cars going around the track. 3 days and a wakeup Grin

Its looking good.

The only thing to consider is that the hotter it gets, the more difficult it is to keep the beer cold

Here's a link to the forecast for LFRM alias Le Mans - Arnage Airport

http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/07235.html

Looks like a coolish weekend with 20% chance of rain.

Hot weathers not exactly brilliant for camping though is it....

Tent gets too hot too soon when you want too lie in your pit till your head clears a bit..

When you do get up , the beer you have left is too warm  and  the walk to the bar is much more tiring.

If you manage to get back to camp in the searing heat you probably need to take a shower at least once during the weekend and thats 30 mins drinking/chilling time wasted just standing in the queue!

Now wet weather is another thing entirely........

Why does every weather site I look at has a different view of what the weather will be like  Huh Angry

It is a dark art this weather forecasting lark - few people have the necessary powers.

Anyway as long as it is not as wet as last year I won't be too bothered.  I just want to get out there now but am stuck in work for another day after today.  Aaaghhhhhhh!!

It's very breezy and cloudy this morning and none too hot.  French weather channel is predicting maximum temperatures of around 20 over the weekend and some showers - just hope they're not like the PQ ones or the campsites will be impossible.

I knew I was being too hopeful when I bought some more suncream.

Will pack a waterproof jacket before I leave tonight.

Cheers
