Thanks so much, I'll try to navigate my way through that now.

Rob, if you happen to spot some and there are more than you need, I need 2, 1 at a pinch, get them. Money would be with you very quick. But I would have a slight query if there was an big mark up from face value, I would have to check with my friends on how far they would be prepared to go.
So I could reciprocate if I find more than I need, how many do you need?

Did a bit of research, since 2nd April there have been a total of 8 Arnage corner tickets on the resale site, 2 batches of 4, one at the beginning of April, one at the beginning of May.
Cokey, I think we are going to be very, very lucky to get some.
Hen's teeth, unobtanium.
Almost given up hope. Sad

Rarer than hen's teeth I'm afraid.
I'm trying to find a couple for some friends of mine who have been let down.

This is a real longshot, but......

Good friends of many CA members and the Brethren, Amandine & Raphael, have been let down on the number of camping passes for their group at Arnage Corner, they have some but are short, if anyone has even a single spare for this site could they help out?

Over the years they have helped out many visitors to the race, ie having the fireworks delivered to their house in France for Rex's departure into the sky, because they couldn't be taken across the Channel.
It would be nice to reciprocate their past help if at all possible.

Update this afternoon:

Loads of GA's, loads of BSJ camping and one lonely Eppinettes camping as well!

If anybody missed the boat for tickets, but are now suffering withdrawal symptoms, all hope is not lost.
Quite a few tickets coming up on the resale site, 16 GA's a couple of days ago, along with BSJ camping, no GA today but camping at Hippo and parking tickets.

Best way to guarantee seeing the whole race including quali is to get the WEC app, you can pay on an individual race basis.

HOWEVER,

I have the season package, the first two races I had no problems, when it got the the Spa race, issues.
Between Imola and Spa they introduced WEC TV, which the app transfers you to. I had major problems making this run properly using Chrome on my iMac.
I did find a work round, it ran fine on my iPhone and iPad, so I airdropped it to my iMac or Apple tv, bingo.
Might only be a mac problem and I had replaced my 10 year old iMac between Imola and Spa so now running the latest IOS. WEC have been notified of the issues I have had and are looking into it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Remember the year when radio Le Mans announced the weeks weather to be “rain with intermittent heavy rain”.We heard the whole campsite groan.

2001?
10  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Weather! on: May 09, 2024, 01:15:15 pm
Le Mans been getting very similar weather to us, which is normal.
Over the last 20 years it's been very rare to have a week with no rain at all.
Pack for every eventuality, perhaps not snow, unless your going to Spa of course!!!

Just over 2 months to go, so approiate time to start this thread!

Out on the night boat to Caen on Thursday 6th June, arriving Arnage corner camping on Friday morning after a quick visit to SuperU for wine, meat, cake and I suppose a bit of green stuff if I must.

Soul Red Mazda Cx-5. Rammed with 2 holidays worth of luggage.

Rhys arriving Saturday.

Leaving Monday morning after the race and heading south to Toulouse to pick up SWMBO at the airport, son house sitting if any toe-rags reading this!
That will be a bucket list item ticked, heading south not north after the race!

2 weeks on the Med, Bezier and Nimes, and back on the evening boat on the 2nd of July.

Hi John
So when on foot, you have to exit the campsite at the car entrance and reenter through the GE gate with everyone else?
15  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Qatar on: March 05, 2024, 12:43:53 pm
Watched the entire race which I really enjoyed.
Felt a bit sorry for Peugeot.
BoP needs a few tweaks but they do have a couple of races before the big one to tinker with it.
I was also a bit surprised by BMW's showing, but they had a slow start in IMSA last year and although it's not a brand new car, it's a new team, new driver line ups on different tyres, so it will be interesting to see how they go at Imola.
That Lambo looks stunning!
Very glad I have tickets for LM, should be a cracking race.
