Good stuff there Andy,
I think it would be appropriate to spare a moment and remember those who went to re-claim Europe on this day 61 years ago. I think it unlikely that our beloved 24 hour race would still be taking place today without their heroism and sacrifce.  By my clock its 3:45 PM in France, most of the beaches would be secure by now but they'd still be in the thick of the fight at Omaha Beach.

Ferrari Spider and I stopped off at Pegasus Bridge on the way back from The Classic last year. It's well worth a visit if you have time on your way to or from Le Mans!!

Yes the WANCs stopped there too last year.Amazing to see the recreation of one of the gliders used.Cant believe anybody could have been brave enough to go into battle in one of those things.
