First off apologies to the mods if this is outside the rules/spirit of this fine place. Delete this post if you consider it so.  If I had been bright enough to find a contact link I would have done it that way. However knowing the enthusiasm of some on this board for whiskey(indeed any form of alcohol) and Le Mans I thought it to good an opportunity to let pass.

Good to see Bruichladdich back at La Sarthe - our little group has focussed this years whisky sessions on Islay and the stash includes a bottle of Peat. Hopefully I can augment that - how and when are you going to announce the winner of the Race draw? Doubt I'll make the autograph session - expect to be pitching camp, sadly, so only the race draw is possible. (9am Friday plan to be getting outside some Uigeadail, Signatory un-chillfiltered Laphroaig, Bunnahabhain, the Peat and Lagavulin. Will leave the Bowmore to the others! Before you mention it we did a full set of Caol Ila last year.)

Bruichladdich Waves can be bought at my bar, the UNION JACK, (listed in the CA guide)

Our best seller, by the way! A great whiskey Smiley

BB, any publicity for the Bruichladdich selection, including for the team and cars, would be welcomed with open arms. Contact me on my email if you can pop by with some promotional stuff, or whatever!

Hey Hansy thanks for setting us straight here re the closed and very gay friendly bars but really I've had enough of the promotion bit.

We know you've a bar, some will come and have a drink and if you are looking at promoting it why not contact the mods and strike a deal with them. Win - win you know.

Same here but I'd rather have they contacted Smokey or whomever and suggest "hey can I promote my pub on your BB and in return I'll do something for your members or donate an amount in the CA-fund" than just shamelessly plug their pub.

If someone would do that I'd actually go and visit that Pub hint...hint  Wink
