It's all to do with the geographic information that has got logged with your IP address, or block of IP addresses.

I get listed as being in Stafford, which I'm not. http://www.showmyip.com/gb/ lists my ISP as being in Telford, which I guess is close enough to Stafford.

Driving home this evening I saw the perfect solution for next year (not enough time to change the ferry ticket).

You can hire a 10ft long refrigerated trailer for £150/week (£20/extra day). They can cool down to between -2 and 8 deg C.

I left Le Mans with a full tank, plus 15 litres in cans strapped to the roll bar... we all still ended up running out and spent Sunday night sleeping in a McD's car park north west of Rouen.

Still, we all had an excellent time!

I remember last year seeing them all in the steak-house just down the main road from Tetre Rouge... they all ended up coming outside asking us to take pictures of them in our cars.

How about a bike with four wheels (and two engines)... I'm coming down in this again this year http://www.zcars.org.uk/z100.htm along with about 8 other bike-engined-cars. If you see (or hear me) you 'll have to shout as I'll be a bit deaf after driving all the way down there
