The gap between Module Sportif (Tower) and the pits grandstand has been used to insert temporary pits for United Autosports #22 and #32.
That is why the access has changed. There appears to be no public access at the Village end (pit exit end).

The 'Module Sportif" is the big tower at pit entry.
The vehicle tunnel runs under the track at the Ford Chicane but it has been blocked off for the last 20 years or so.
You used to access the pitlane by going between the tower and the pit grandstand building. Now you have to go the other side of the tower and walk down the pit entry road.

Attention pit walkers.

It appears that pedestrian access to the pit lane for the public pit walks this year is only available from the far side of the Module Sportif at Parking 6A entrance near the entrance of the long disused car tunnel under the track. (It used to be between the MS and the pit grandstand)

This looks like the ideal vehicle for a trip to La Sarthe in June...

They are a very deep navy blue and the supplier advises to wash separately for the first two or three visits to the laundry basket.

Update.

Shirts arrived today but too late to get them packed up and sent out. I'm driving to Scotland on Sunday/Monday so hopefully I'll get them sent out on Tuesday. I'll update again when I've done the post office run.
