No need, as it isn't really a campsite. It's just on the edge of the forrest before you approach the main entrance at the bottom of Eau Rouge. No facilities, have to bring your own. We'll be with at least 10 DfH'ers, and it wouldn't surprise me if we bump into Werner (+ gang) and HGB again :)

Nicest thing about it, is the price for the "camping" >> €5 a car 8)

Tickets are 25 euro's in presale I saw, that includes the paddock, which you want, cause there is really nice bar with seating area, plus you get to stroll around the track more easy. Bob, you could stay with us if you like!

I've never heard that term before Bob, and I have to say I like it. It's got a utilitarian feel to it. Brilliantly descriptive, as you point out, but I reckon it's also good for an exclamation or two. Like "bloody hell", "Frank Boughs knob!" or even "sh*t-the-bed!!". I'm going to use it as much as I can this week.
Mark,  you're right mate, it's nostalgia again. - I think, behind the garden shed I have a collection of party 7's, bent can openers and severed fingers. It was great, wasn't it?

Randy, the 24 hours of Spa are the last weekend of July, 30-31st. The next race is an ILMC race (like sebring) at spa, 6 hours or 1000 km. Should be plenty of american teams present. Could be good to watch, just come over ;D

The weather was great today. Tomorrow and sat. bring sunscreen, it is going to be warm. Sneaked in to the pitlane just before practice got underway, pretty cool spot to, just next to the audi pitbox. No admitance today which was great as my tickets had not arrived yet. Luckily I got a spare one at the accreditation center.

Campingwise, I would like to suggest P3, nice shady area, just head for P1 and take a right into the forrest area. We will be there around 10 am, will scout the area, if it is to full around the time you guys arrive, we can always go to P2, which has a nice grassy flat area, with plenty space today for cars and tents.

We will meet you there, just give us a ring when you get close!

View from the sofa was pretty good, but i would much rather have been track side. No atmosphere on the sofa, loads of comfort though. The race weekend feel was not there (lack of washing, far too much larger and petrol fumes). Have to make up for it in Le Mans 8 days of sheer pleasure.
