just to let you know the second test flight of the Vulcan has been happening today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpnXCJffFRQ

she has landed away from Brunters after declaring an emergency, it doesn't look too serious, more like a faulty indicator.  But after £6 million spent on the project you can't be too careful.

Good to see the programme's still going.

Where did it land? Waddington were a div for the 1st test flight.

Oops.  Mind you, the odd faulty indicator is only to be expected I suppose - glad that it wasn't a genuine one!  Did she recover to Bruntingthorpe or is she still at Cottesmore?

Hi Peter - nice when a plan comes together.  Good to hear - presumably all working up to a first public appearance at the Duxford Spring Airshow in May?

Seeing her there like that at Coningsby brings a lump to the ancient throat dunnit. Just like a real aircraft again

Marvellous and a credit to the hard working team, dedicated to loving her back into the sky.
