New entrants can only be good for the sport.  If we end up with 2 X Toyota, 3 X Audi, 2-3 X Porsche, 2 X Rebllion, 1 X Strakka and who knows, maybe an LMP1 Lotus programme?  then LMP1 will be looking seriously interesting again....

I wonder what's causing this run of new entrants?  maybe less geographical challenges by not having the programme including the USA?

I am officially excited about the future of sportscar racing.

With you there Brad!
Oreca are building a NEW 2014 car for Rebellion, Oak with a new LMP1 car next year and Dome as well. Le Mans aside, the WEC next year will be a must-see. Expect to see a Bentley Continental next year as well in FIA GT3. Can you imagine?
I'm also looking forward this year to see Vipers try to nudge the Corvettes.
