Title: WANTED- Small block Ford engine, parts, carb
Post by: Lazy B'stard on September 28, 2010, 12:30:15 pm
Howdy. I'm looking to put some yank lead in my pencil. Looking for 302 or 351 Ford motor, block, tuning parts, Big valve alloy heads, forged hi comp pistons, Gurney Eagle cam covers, quad weber inlet manifold, 48IDA or IDF carbs, performance cam, ti pushrods, roller rockers etc etc. Anything considered. Cash waiting.

Also looking for a ZF 5 speed Pantera transaxle.

Cheers
Si

I have no idea what any of that means, but I suspect it will cover requirements for air con, luggage space, ride height/suspension but not necessarily fuel consumption!

RBT in the states does new ZF DS25 Pantera boxes with uprated internals. But they are pricey.

Sorry Fran. Air Con yes, but sadly zero luggage space. Looks like we will be banking on Andy getting a bigger car. Oh, and do try and look less nervous when Andy takes your 'stash' through customs next year.  ;D

Didnt you realise the nervous twitching is all part of the distraction technique?  While they think I look suss and swarm over your car, Andy drives straight through with the "Apple bag"!

Perhaps a PM to Randy wouldn't go amiss, he may be able to lay his hands on something tasty from the US.

I picked up a used Pantera ZF box about 15 years ago. It cost £3,500 despite being in need of repair!

Dont know if you are still looking for parts or not. If you are, call an old mate of mine Paul Healey, he specialises in Amercan car restorations, his number was 07850671964 or 01342832560. Tell him you gor the number from Geoff at Riders bodyshop. If those numbers are no good, send me a reply, and I will dig around ang get latest ones for you.
