What was the reason given for Jean-Louis Ricci's fine at the 1990 Le Mans race?

Wasn't f**k*ng speeding, that's for sure! Pescarolo and Laffitte carried him around, as I remember.....
Still, shouldn't speak ill of the departed, I suppose.
Didn't he straight-arm a marshall in the pit lane?

Nope, this fine was handed out before the race got underway and is connected to Bob Wolleck.

Laffitte got a fair bit of stick there on his return. Going against the grain by praising the new chicanes saying the race was safer now. Most others felt that it was worse.  The higher downforce on the cars increased the speeds everywhere else on the track.

I case anyone was wondering why Jean-Louis Ricci was fined, During the the drivers briefing he noticed that Bob Wolleck was absent and then forged  Bobs name as well as signing himself.

This was noticed by eagle eyed officials who fined them both.
