Just thought you might want to know - I had a call today from BF saying that they have changed their schedule and will now not be running the proposed Portsmoth - Cherbourg run in June.

We were going to use this on the Wednesday evening for our main party...

We have managed to switch back to Portsmouth - Caen without extra charge, so they were quite decent about it. However, my advice would be to act fast if this might hit you - there can't be much space left on the Wed night Caen "Le Mans Special"!!

It woudn't be Le Mans without some drama in the transportation department would it?!

I'm an idiot, forget I said that, I am using P&O! Lips Sealed

Can't speak for Mr. Toad but we certainly will. The Shed Crew (including myself, Wishywashyman, Chicken, Mother Hen and others) will be calling in.

Looking forward to it as we have changed from our usual Brittany crossing to P&O this year and the latter's sailing time is at least 2 hours later - therefore more opportunity for beer and socialising after our journey down.

Tried to get an MCN or Bike discount for a bike in 2002, I was told it was not valid for sailings in LM week.
Worth trying again though.

The main Beermountain party will indeed be in the Ranworth Cellars on Wed from around 18.00! I sadly will be on MB in a paddling pool with a cold beer looking after our pitch! I'll let all know nearer the time so we can wear a red rose or something and spot fellow team members for a beer...

PS They almost knocked that pub down 2 years ago for alternative use - don't know if it will be around in 2004?

Y'all could try Poole to Cherbourg instead?

Usually go Portsmouth to Cherbourg ourselves but this route worked out cheaper this year and has day time sailings which depart and arrive at reasonable times. Not much further to go either.
