Hiya

Well I purchased a new ball gown for my firms 30th anniversary dinner at Gorey Castle last weekend - so will that be good?

I will bring along some high heels but can I just wear my Lacoste's? my Dick Emery impression is poor at the best of times!

And I will do the hair/make up full works - shall we share carmen rollers before you grace everybody with your presence - we just need some freeby 'lecy so we can plug them in.

Anybody else want to get girly then in honour of the bride? I'm thinking now that this is a very wrong and dangerous question - we dont want bridesmaids with a tache or sideburns or even.....whatever!!

That's the spirit!!  ;D  I can bring my lady shave for the boys...

I've been debating high heels but it might require DfH to lay some kind of hard flooring so my heels don't sink the the soil....but then perhaps I wouldn't have an excuse for falling over?  Hmm difficult questions  ;)

Trouble is by that end of the week, I will look like I've been through several hedges backwards and may require more than carmen rollers to sort me out!    ;D

I am packing my tiara though  ;D

Pieter...

Bet you look fab in a dickie bow!

hee hee

In fact - I reckon that you should now make it THE official dress code for the celebration of your wedding - a dickie or a tiara - take your pick girls n boys

Actually, I do, but I don't own one, hence the tenue de ville suggestion.  ;D

Oh my giddy aunt - done it again.... I mean that you might like to wear other clothing -AS WELL AS- a dickie bow or a tiara.

Jeeeeze - can you imagine what might have happened  at your wedding bash?

In H's case he might be glad of the circulation of air around his nether regions ;D

Sorry P&K

Lisa

LOL  ;D

I struggled with the wording original to avoid the suggestion that guests should only wear one item of "wedding wear" and nothing else  ;D

Pieter, I had to google "tenue de ville" - no need for the full gear, one element will be fine - I like RS2Babe's "dickie or tiara" suggestion - I do know how much most of you blokes like cross dressing on the quiet  ;D

Damn,

Have to search for my Formal Hat as well.
Aussie hat won't do i presume ??

But then, Driving 650 km ( with a maximum of 80km an hour)  delivering a mobile and with 4 taps equiped bar behind a Van with 15 barrels of beer ( Paddy has the other 20 otherwise the axes won't hold ) will quallify ( strange word ) as making an effort ?!
