Hi All,

Hope I find you well.

Mark and I have already spoken with a few Club Arnage'rs in regard to a Team JPC Golf Society and have received interest from a number of them.

Is there anyone else out there that might be interested in attending/joining such a thing? It wont start until the weather gets a bit warmer. I just want to gauge the interest, if any.

Open to all.

Cheers

Never have seriously intented a golf course, let alone play. Did some hockey early days, but that's too many moons ago. And then there's the North Sea to cross every time Undecided

Gazza,

Is it likely the society would need at least one designated buggy driver?  If so I'm your man (so to speak).  Me and golf balls / clubs don't get on too well as those who've seen me attempt to hit a golf ball can vouch for but I'm sure I could cope with driving a buggy.

I'm sure can see the benefit of having someone to look after you, your clubs and your beers (or is it strictly diet coke these days?) whilst you take part in a game.   Grin

Hi Doris,

Very kind of you to allocate yourself as the token "grown-up"  Grin

I'm sure that Diet Coke will be assigned to the archives for such an event!

Anyone else?

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

I would love to join up but I think the logistics of attending any rounds that you organise would end up being more testing than my swing.

One of these years, whilst at Le Mans, we should arrange a round on the course that is next to the track.

I have noticed that it is still open when the race is on?

Just a thought.

Having played a very bad round of the wretched game this morning, count me out!!

Actually I rather enjoy a game of golf (known locally as Thwack... f**k!) and so do the rest of Team Zarse, so some of us would be up for a round for sure. Guess we're talking about next year in the spring?

Hi Andy,

Something like that.

We're gonna try and get it as central to as many people as we can so that we can get a good attendance. The idea being to get as many people having fun as possible.

I have nominated myself as handicap secretery and am happy to announce that I will be playing off 28  Grin

Should be good fun!

Gazza,

You seem to be confused.  Just because I said I would drive a golf buggy and look after clubs / beers does not mean I am in anyway going to act like a 'grown up'.  That's just wrong!  Grin
