Cars on that line are WAY too expensive mainly because all the flower lorries use it to bring the flowers into the UK as fresh as possible.

ha! and that is what you want in the UK, guarantee on flowers Smiley
what you want is what you get Smiley

Stena Line is indeed one of our ways of transport to the UK

Hmmmmm.........self interest there Dirk?HuhHuh?

I wonder how many flowers Petra gets every week?Huh  Wink

Much as flying is quicker and very tempting, I'm still giving serious thought to combining it with a booze cruise ready for Christmas!

Rob, me Chris and the Gimp are looking at flying out to Amsterdam on either fri night or sat morning getting to Rotterdam by train (45 mins?) and probably spending sunday night back in Am'dam for a "schmoke", flying back on on monday. Anyway that's the basic plan. What had you in mind?

Not sure yet. I've only got one day's holiday spare so I can either take friday or monday off. Do you fancy doing Amdam on the friday or are you definitely planning for sunday?

I obviously don't know what a schmoke is but I would prefer to do it as far away from the return flight as possible  Wink

We could go either on the fri night or sat am but the flights are cheaper coming back on monday lunchtime as opposed to sunday night. We thought we'd get the sat am flight out; The Gimp likes the idea of a monday off work. Not sure if you're looking at going from Hurn, erm sorry Bournemouth International, or Eastleigh aerodrome, sorry, I mean Southampton Airport. If you wanted to go with us from Gatwick you'd be welcome to stay over at mine on fri evening. This applies to Mr JPC, or anyone else for that matter.

It looks as if I'm getting some serious interest from Wooly, Elvis and Trayboy and I've yet to speak to Pork Chop and Kimey. If they go then the Coombies will most likely pitch up (oh lordy)

You never know, we may be there. Watch this              space
