Looking back on last year and the Stanglers (best for years) were not announced by ACO till early May.

The good news is Jay Kay is playing Gran Canaria and Tenerife 13th & 14th June, although I would have definately exiled him further - jumped up little s...

I'm seeing The Prodigy and Pendulum at MK in July - quite looking forward to it too.  Would be cracking at Le Mans but I doubt if I would see them - too many cars to watch / beers to drink.  I've not seen any of the bands at Le Mans in the 10 years that I've been going!

There haven't been any worth seeing John! Wailers were pretty good though a few years ago. That was the year of the first CA gathering at the champagne bar with tea-towel heads aplenty.

I believe that they are a beat combo.

This is winding me up - I don't have the time for it.

If the concert is still on Wednesday 9 June it will be unlikely as UB40 are booked to play in Austria http://www.worldticketshop.com/concerts/ub40_tickets/79168_ub40_vienna

Might be possible if the day is changed to the Sat as usual though

I'm not sure transporting 120 tonnes of equipment is overly conducive to "stopping off on the way" !!?!?

I heard it was the Stock Aitken & Waterman Reunion Tour featuring Kylie & Jason [without Kylie], Mel & Kym, Bananarama, Rick Astley, Sinitta and top-billing is Sam Fox [without her girlfriend].

I believe that their equipment fits in to 1/3 of a truck, the rest is used for shifting the other vegetables.

This seems to confirm UB40 I think: -

Quote
The programming circuit this year has just fallen, with its share of legends and discoveries.

24 Hours motorcycle will perform the New York Dolls, Little Bob and The Love Me Nots, April 17.

Little Bob, all French rocker knows. One of the thin blades of rock-tinged blues hexagonal returns to Le Mans with a 13 th album under his arm.

The Love Me Nots, a discovery that comes from Arizona, is a mixed group cultivating cult sixties. As for the headliners, the New York Dolls, they must return to hell.

Born in 1971 in the era of glam and glitter, the group of David Johansen (vocals) and the late guitarist Johnny Thunders, survived but not without difficulty in all the excesses, remains both a precursor of punk and heavy metal.

In June, the 24 Hours car is BB Brunes Wednesday that will make a stop at the circuit to promote her 2 th album. And on Saturday, during the race, another legend will be there: UB40, the English group born in 1978 in the celebrated reggae variety of tubes.

Saturday, April 17 (motorcycle), Wednesday, June 9 and Saturday, June 12 (auto), 21 h, Dunlop Bridge. Free access to all ticketed spectators.
