Thanks for that Kpy.

I called and they will despatch asap.
They also said that if you are registered but cannot find your card, and end up needing medical attention then call 00 44 191 218 1999 and quote your N.I. number and approval will be given.

Roll on next week!

Nah - called them yesterday and they are re-issuing it.

Smokie

Do you have their telephone number?
I have lost mine too, could only find an email address on their website, and I can't seem to get a response to that.

A couple of years ago I was behind the granstands opposite the pits at the end of the race. Two 'cleaners' walked past one wheeling a wheely bin (what else would you do with it), and the other picked up rubbish and dropped it in the bin. Suddenly a very irate Brit appeared, grabbed one of the cleaners and demanded to look in the bin. They tried to stop him, but he was having none of it, inside the bin covered over with rubbish was his rucksack. Roll Eyes

36  Club Arnage / Help / Re: Newbie going to Le Mans Classic on: February 15, 2006, 04:18:14 pm
Escaping to the Classic as well as the main event this year.

I assume that there is no Radio Le Mans for the Classic, but is is it still worth taking the radio, do you get the five minutes in English every hour  on the French Radio?

If not, maybe a Classic veteran can tell me how you keep tabs on whats going on.

Cheers

Robbo

Never made it to the poo bar last year
Must try harder this year (and be properly dressed), so can I order.

4 x large shirt + postage
2 x medium sticker

Total £46.00

Will send cheque and postal address Tuesday next week, as I am working away until then.

If you run out of stickers, then put the two quid to a good cause (beer).

Thanks

Stuey

Probably the most graphic video of motorsport and day to day motoring I have come across so far. Contains graphic images of people being hit by a multitude of vehicles bth on and off the track.

Sorry, but I don't see why anyone would want to watch something like that ?!!!!!
Maybe its just me, but that is one link I just would have no inclination to click on.
40  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Honda To ALMS In LMP2(?) on: July 01, 2005, 12:16:52 pm
Why are they concentrating on LMP2 rather than LMP1?

LMP2 has been a bit of a joke class up to now. A few years ago all the talk was of an LMP2 car winning overall. Le Mans this year the class winning LMP2 was 21st overall, beaten by no less than six GT2 runners.

Can anyone enlighten me?  Huh

44  Club Arnage / Help / Re:Rouen Vs Paris which way to go on: June 06, 2005, 01:09:58 pm
In my opinion the Rouen route is definitely the way to go, the Paris route is too unpredictable.

The Rouen route seems to get easier every year as the roads improve and even though Rouen itself can be a bit of a bottle neck it rarely holds you up for long.

I always make sure that I carry a french road atlas with me, that way when somebody stuffs their car on a single carriageway section (as they often do), I can take to the country lanes for a few miles and divert around the holdup.
