Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Brilliant work by the marshalls there. One minute there's a car cartwheeling towards them, and they were running away, then Whumph. up it goes, and they run towards it and get on with sorting it out.

Thankfully no incidents today, very very cold and the odd flake of snow/hail as well. Great GT race with the Tech 9 lambo winning by less than a second.

Trying to defrost at the moment, will sort out the photos tonight.

Nice to see Kev and his dad, parked only 3 cars away, which was quite a coincidence.

I'm also the proud owner of a Tom Dunston badge Grin

We missed the rendezvous by being on the wrong side of the track for the G50 race, and then had to get the vehicles round to the hairpin for the start of the GT race.  But Fran spotted us during the G50 race  Wink

A cold weekend but a very enjoyable one.  Some of my pics below, plus a couple of irritatingly good ones from Muz Jr  Smiley

We also got chance to try out the new awning, a lifesaver bearing in mind the conditions  Wink

Open a Photobucket account (it's free).  Resize your shots to 800 pixels wide max, 640 wide seems to fit this site better.  Upload your resized pics.  Under each pic in your Photobucket account will be three or four links, copy & paste the bottom link for each pic into your CA post.  It's easy once you get the hang of it - have two browser pages open at the same time, one with your Photobucket pics on it and one with your CA post, then you can easily flip from one to the other.  Wink

I think I have warmed up now, that was a cold Sunday!!! Shocked

Thank you to all those that dropped by the Team GCR, wear your badge with pride Jules!

Great shots there Muz, cracking shot of Tom in the G50 (was that you or Muz Jr?) sorry that I did not get the chance to see you. But great to see Rick, Piglet, and Kieth K again.

Tom had a couple of good races, 11th to 5th in the first race and was battling (from 11th on grid) for 5th (I think, got a bit excited Shocked) in the 2nd race, but a tap at Hisslops put him down to 9th. I think the commentaters enjoyed the "Tom Show"........

(If anybody is intrested to recive email newsletters about Tom and GCR race weekends, please PM me your email address)

Cadwell Park next (Ginetta Festival) and then Knockhill, bring yer wellies

That one was mine, Jr was busy keeping Muzette out of the lake during that race, but I'll see if he got any good ones  Wink

When are the Cadwell & Knockhill races? - I fancy the Cadwell meeting as long as it doesn't clash with anything else we've already committed to  Grin

Cadwell is 'do-able', and we had the Donington round down as a definite.  Wink
