I foolishly agreed to be best man to a fellow fellow Le Man regular.
He wants to do go karting and then out for the night in Birmingham. I, on the other hand, have 3 days in Tallinn in mind.
I've read all the spiel on the various web sites (mostly extoling the virtues of that particular tour company), but am looking for some impartial advice / thoughts on Tallinn, from anyone who's been there.
scheduled for next April and wedding in May, so it's all done and dusted by mid June.
Thoughts please........

Nobby, If you have to go to Brum, fair enough, there's worse places, you'd certainly enjoy Broad Street. But it wouldn't be my number 1 choice for this kind of event.

Why don't you check out Krackow in Poland? My business partner is married to a Polish girl, and he reckon's it's the dogs doo-dahs for wild nights out and value-for-money boozin' and carousin'. The Poles love the English (obviously!) and have not become as cynical and commercialised as some of the more popular destinations like Dublin, Prague and even Talinn. It's cheap as chips and has a vibrant night life apparently. Looking to go over with my colleague some time soon.

Oh, BA fly direct from Gatwick and LOT from Heathrow.

Can find out some more info if you need it, send me a PM.

Great choice! If you consider any other cities in Poland then I would recommend Gdansk. But Krakow would still be my number one. I come (and live) in Poland so I know what I am talking about.

Oh, BTW " The Poles love the English (obviously!)" Why so modest? Grin

I have just read my own post... Grin

I come FROM Poland and I live IN Poland, but, yes, it is possible to come in Poland as well.  Tongue

...and judging by the state Polish footbal is in, it is not going to change for the next 100 years or so.

It feels good NOT to be a football fan in Poland. Smiley

I know, it's a shame really.

Anyway, I've always thought the Poles are good eggs!  Cool Hard drinking, northern European folk, a bit like us.

We considered Riga, but the advice that came back was that the local mafia are rather active in terms of extortion and forcing the hookers onto stags - apparently, if you go there and act the lad, you'll come unstuck very quickly.....take care, but have fun.

Villnius is the other option.....

That is beginning to sound like Broad Street. Wink
