I know nothing about motorsport. However, a suspended ban usually means that nothing will happen to them UNLESS they infringe the rules again within the next two years at which time the ban will come into effect. i.e. if Renault are good boys until 2011 nothing will happen, if not, they will be banned for 2 years.

If this isn't correct then blame someone else.
