Warm and sunny, but cooler with the possibility of rain.

Does it really matter? Take a brolly and sunblock.

2007 was wet
2008 was cold
2009 was cold and wet

Bring on 2010 (todays forecast is wet for the race and I would advise Lawnmower Man to cut the grass as early as possible).

Very hot and sticky yesterday and overnight.  Heavy thunderstorms early this morning.  Grey now but looking more promising and the sun's trying to come out. Smiley

Heavy hail at Le Mans this morning and over three inches of rain at circuit. I pity (once again) those camping at Beauséjour. The grass is waist high there and they start cutting tomorrow.

Sounds like this should be converted into the mossie forecast thread: conditions like that should ensure a bumper crop (?swarm) within the next 7 days.

Tom - I hope for the final coup de grace you will have a full weather station recording at Blue Nord? And publish actuals on your return?

I watched Country File weather last night. The bit of France it showed covered the LM area, it did not look like a hot sunny week to me. I hope the BBC got it wrong.

Emergency wet weather kit bag packed, and extra pair of trainers.

Don't want to come back from LM with trench foot.

None of this is going to be needed of course, as it's going to be hot and sunny Cool
(Bugger that's the forecast for next week, it might arrive early though Smiley)

Given the rate the forecast changes it looks like they dont have much of a clue.

hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Copy that. Today's prediction is Sat sun & 23, and Sun rain & 24. You would think the sun would make the place a little warmer Undecided Huh

We all know this game.  Whilst the forecasts seem to be improving, there's still plenty of time for them to get worse.  There's going to be some rain, and there's going to be some sun.  Fog is a distinct possibility, especially early morning, but snow and hurricanes are unlikely.

Will somebody please repeat this every 12 months.

The sunhat is waterproof and I have open toed wellies - as a result of experience
