I was able to get a copy and it works fine! Thanks for your help.

just tried it and got an I/O error. I'll try again in the morning. Thanks for the quick response.

I'm getting an ERROR 109 inside the PDF. I googled it and it says there is a problem with the file upload on the server. I would suggest you ZIP the file after checking it on your local drive. The Zip will put a shell around it and protect it from those nasty web infections.
4  Club Arnage / 2008 / Re: New Le Mans Book published on: May 15, 2008, 09:37:23 pm
A word of caution! Have you consulted the gods of the ACO about your book? They are VERY picky about where the name "Le Mans" is being used. In fact, this very website had to change the URL to clubarnage.com because it used to have the word "lemans" in it. They came down pretty hard as I recall.

I too am writing a book about my trip in 2006. I have already consulted with the ACO gods about publishing it and they told me that they were not going to publish any more books at this time. That means, quite frankly that they probably did not understand my question because I did not want them to publish, I wanted to know if I published a book about the even if there woud be any problem.

To be on the safe side, I am not naming the book with the words Le Mans in the title. It is in the text inside. We'll see how it goes. I am tempted to buy your book because I too am going to use Blurb. Your price is a bit steep though. I'm going to have to want it pretty bad and have a birthday or something coming up to get it.

Oh, there is another bunch who published a Le Mans book, a few years in a row now. I think they got the ACO's blessing.

I'll be back across the pond in 2010 with friends.

I think you should do both Dave. How have you been? I will be going to the race this year as a spectator (not media, unfortunately) and will be in Parking Bleu. Anyway, thread hijack asside, I think you need both the blog and the wicki.

What steering wheel and pedals are you using? I saw the trailor for GT on PS3 and it absolutely blows EVERYTHING away!

Ultimate cheats Huh  Isnt that cheating Huh

Well lets look at that for a moment. 'scuse me while I put my beer down to illustrate this concept. Ok, it says "Ultimate" Cheats. Wouldn't that be like cheating the cheats which in turn the "regular" cheats would not look like cheats at all unless someone came up with something like "Ritiously Ultimate" Cheats in which case "Ultimate Cheats" wouldn't be cheats any more...gulp, gulp, ahhh....it all makes sense now.

You would think that was me but I don't think so. Yes, I finally got to go in 1999 and 2000 and it was bigger and better than I had made it out to be since I was a teenager. It seems so long since I've been there that it is becoming a manditory obligation to go back. Who knows, maybe next year.

This year I will do what I've done for the past 5 years, I decorate my TV room with all kinds of Le Mans stuff, get out my Le Mans t-shirts, warm up the 54" TV and invite all my friends over and glue ourselves to the TV for the entire race.

P.S. Hmmm....Aston....didn't you submit a story for my old website, The Unofficial Spectator?
10  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Do you want some free publication? on: June 01, 2005, 05:56:00 am
I would like to submit my logo if that's ok THE UNOFFICIAL SPECTATOR. I need to go dig up the logo. What size and format do you want it in? I can format it any way you like. Lay down some specs man!
11  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Internet Radio Coverage on: June 01, 2005, 05:46:17 am
Has anyone seen any mention that Radio Le Mans will stream over the internet? I went to www.radiolemans.com but it looks like they are under ALMS control now. Lemans.org has a radio section but it doesn't state whether there will be an English broadcast.

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I posted on CA. I can't make it to the race (again) this year but will be watching it on Speed Channel (all 17.5 hours). It looks like Speed Channl conveniently set up a break in the afternoon, just enough time for my friends and I to go Karting.
