I'm always given the previous year's form with the year crossed out anyway, so I don't see why it would be a problem if we all  just downloaded the '07 form and changed it to '08.

I always use the previous years form and tippex the year out.

My concern would be that it appears the ACO are trying to encourage groups to go onto BSJ, if they got a chunk of forms together would they regard us all as a large group and might that be a problem?

I dunno, it's difficult to call isn't it?

Yup, Piglet, it is.
However, as we aren't all on the same camp site, it's maybe not such an issue?  It was just a thought.

Yes you are right it's last year's form most of the time, it should do the trick then unless the ACO comes up with new "rules" about the maximum amount of reservations that can be made by foreign nationals in person at the ACO office  Wink

You never now, it's the ACO  Grin

I'll go in and have a chat with them after Sebring, when things have calmed down a bit.  At the moment they are incredibly busy (no doubt looking under desks etc for lost faxes and e-mails!)

Well I've got my confimation for camping today.

Is'nt amazing, you place your order in for camping the week you come back from last years Le Mans.

You put confidence in the wonderful allocation system and guess what......

Order 2 x MB and you get ............. 2 x Blue Nord.

Close, but no banana.

So I take them, hope to get a swap or get hold of MB tickets.

In the mean time I think I'll order 2008 tickets now.

Nopanic, looking at the evidence so far, nobody who requested their '07 bookings after the Wednesday before the race (does this make sense?) got MB.  They will not take '08 bookings before pq weekend.  Some faxes and e-mails have been lost. QED - to deliver the form for '08 on PQ weekend '07 should be the safest.
Can you let me have your booking number and customer number please? - ta.

OK got my confirmation yesterday:

Requested
MB 10 Tickets or HA, or KN
ACO Grandstand 2 Tickets

Recieved
BSJ 10 Tickets
Tribune 16 Sommer Tickets (For Sale)
Tribune ACO (Waiting List)

What annoy's me is that the ACO have only offered me alternatives for what I did not want an alternative to! There appears to be NO waiting list for MB either that or I am not on it.

Not totally upset as I have tickets from elsewhere as I was not hopeful.

For Refrence:-

Booked at the race last year, Sunday I think?

I got my conformation though today. not quite what I ordered but. I have sorted my camping pass. Main thing is that I got the grandstand I asked for. .

I ordered in june 06, (which they lost)
2 x MB
3 x T19
3 x GA

I received,
2 x Bleu Nord (FOR SALE)
3 x T19
3 x GA

So not a bad result 2 out of 3.

If the Bleu Nord don't sell by the end of next week, I will give back to ACO.

I don't friggin well believe this!!

I have just calmed myself down after receiving my allocation 2 days ago, then Mike says he has been allocated T19, which is what I ordered and did not get!!  Mike's allocation obviously went through AFTER mine.

I think this is the best solution.  We touched on this a week or two back, and a personal visit by someone who is cognisant of all the issues and requirements will resove a lot of the issues.  Once we know all the ins and outs of the new regime, we can decide the best way try to fill our requirements.  Don't forget that HA will be 'hit' next year (according to rumour), so all the HA proles, who have been quietly complacement this year, will be in the middle of turmoil themselves next year   : Wink Wink Wink

We might seem complacent Del, but in fact we have already been hit to a certain extent by being unable to get HA's from the usual sources. My mate's son and his mates were trying Continental Car Tours to get HA, ferry and GA tickets and were told that they couldn't have the HAs 'cos the allocation has been hacked about due to that stadium car park being on HA. Last year I had mine from CCT, with my mates the Audi Users.

Luckily for me this year I was sorted by the usual sources but complacent? At Le Mans? No way...

I'd think we are all waiting for the hammer to fall again.

 Sad

Sorry Del,
I did have a bit of a moan becauce they lost my original order, but was very nice at the same time. Not nice enough to get any MB passes. I have no doubt that next year will be a complete Bun fight again. Wink

And a lot of moaning here because the stadium which will wreck the campsite has gone way over budget - the LM equivalent of Wembley Stadium.  Humph.
