A couple of us have been bashing a few ideas about for the CA '08 t-shirts.

For the front, we've looked at new designs and the old design on a different coloured shirt, and have concluded that the front of the shirt should remain the same as it has become almost a trademark of CA.  So the front will look like:

Please note that not all shirts will have my 'name' on them   Cheesy Cheesy - although I will be able to offer to have your shirts personalised (printed, not stick-on) for a small additional charge.

The current thought for the back is that the design will be based on the XJR9 as below.  This pic needs more work on it to add another colour or two.

Any comments??

Please don't post orders on here - I'll start a separate thread for that.

Nice  Grin  I like the idea of the front staying the same - good use of the "brand"!

I would rather like to see the Gulf Aston on the back. We have had two years of retro shirts, might be nice to feature a car for the current year.

We thought about that Rick - in fact we tried to make the whole shirt into Gulf colours - but the colours didn't seem to work out to well with the front design.

The trouble with the Gulf Aston - have we got a picture THAT WE COULD USE (cf copyright...)

XJR9 does it for me. A good homage to the 20th anniversary too.

I'd like to add to Del's comment it will be rather hard at the moment to get an 'action shot' of the AM in Gulf colours. Speaking of which, two times Gulf in a row? Undecided

Just my two pence worth.

I think it looks nicer with the CA Logo on the left breast (above Le Mans at the top of the red/white/blue stripe)

I think that is how we had them in 2004 and 2005??

If we can wait until March I am sure some of us will be able to snap a good picture :-)

Agree JP that it would be two Gulf's in a year!

Would have paid homage to Audi if they weren't taking the piss nowadays.

Or how about a tribute to Racing For Holland?

I like the idea of the personalised name.

I think this is great from those nice people at N138

If we can wait until March ........

I thought you wanted them FOR March   Huh

With the XJR9, there is the Dutch connection with Jan driving the winning car.

Yes, like the idea of the XJR 9 on the back as not only will it fit in with the 20th anniversary but also with the Group C support race this year.

I know it is early days and this is the first stab.........

I like the front, and the idea to try and standardise it makes sense. But could the 2008 be written without the digits overlapping eachother......makes it a little cluttered looking and not so easy to read. Just a thought.

Like the Jag on the back, and I think the current two colours looks fine, but the track is too much of a block of colour, it needs to be broken up a bit, somehow.

But generally good work chaps.
