Hello,
Does anyone know the location for the support paddock for the Group C cars ? I totally missed the support race paddock last year since they moved it from near Maison Blanche. I really want to see the Group C's up close and personal !

Thanks

Last year the paddock was at the bottom end of the pit lane, near to the red cross centre.

Access was controlled however, it took a lot of effort to gain entry.

Pit entry end or pit exit end, please explain. I don't know where the red cross building is.
Thanks

Last year the Legends cars were in a holding/ working area between where they park the tyre trucks and the top of the paddock area towards the Dunlop bridge. On the Wednesday just wondered in, had a close look at the cars, held spanners and bits for the mechanics while they workied on the cars, great fun. Not sure if I was supposed to be there, everybody else I saw had competitor or VIP pass, and I was let out of the top gate by a security guard.

I had a wander about in there on Thursday last year and nobody seemed to mind.

Sorry,
pit entry end, if your exiting the the 2004 cars paddock at the race control or pit enty end, head away from the track and you should see it on the right hand side, the red cross camp is on the left.

We had no problem getting in either. Didn't even realise there was security.

Got some fanastic shots of the Hales Ferrari & Piper 917.

Who thought it a good idea for a flat 12 twin spark motor... Lots of Italian wires...

Sounds good though Smiley

I think we wandered in on Friday at some point.
