Do you mean schwanzig, German for twenty?

When I was in Austria in March, a popular song in the bars and clubs was sung by some bird and the chorus was about her desire for "Schwanzig Centimeter". Perhaps she was a Bentley mechanic too!

Excuse me, my German is crap, but some of the other lines left little to the imagination! I think it was something like "Sticken sie grosses pimell im mein heisses wangen. Ooohhhh yahh,  das ist musch besser"

Maybe Werner can help us with the translation? What does it mean???

Out of curiosity, what would the consensus be if the Lotus Se7en club advertised their tickets on this forum? They are about double face value but profit goes to charity. A moral dilemma for Smokie or not?

They certainly used to advertise on the old site, to a somewhat mixed reaction.

"Well done Corporal Jones, I wondered who would spot it first".

You're right KPY.

I think Robin should clarify his intentions here regarding whether he is selling at face value or just telling us face value is 50 euros.

Incidentally there is a ticket for sale on ebay (below face value I would add!) by someone call Kippy Laws. Any relation??

Last year a mate went in his Chaemera. The brake light switch failed and it go so hot by the centre tunnel his box of cassette tapes actually melted. But a good laugh none the less. Personally I'd go for a Griff 500, it's a bit more hard edged.

Incidentally, Ive checked our records and this year we paid nearly a hundred quid LESS to go on Brittany Pompey-Caen than last years voyage from hell on the Vomitcat to Cherbourg.

Is it a Morris JU250? If so you'll be lucky to get there in time for the start of the race! Why did they make an ambulance out of such a slow vehicle?

PS I speak as a Commer PB owner, a thoroughbred in comparison!

Oui c'est formidable. Tres, tres bon Gilles. Merci beaucoups.

Where is the bus stop to go into the town centre? (Ou est l'arrette pour l'autobus au direction de centre ville???)

See Gilles, I'm practicing my French but it remains as "poubelle" as ever!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're lucky!!!

After a month on and off of trying, I have completely failed to attach any sort of picture. I dont understand why it says my picture has to be a web page, ie http. I have tryed to attach a file but got the message above. Clicked the link above, but frankly it is of no help at all.

I'm not totally technically challenged, but it's really stumped me this time. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Just had a horrible thought. Does this new tribune mean:

1. We won't be able to watch from the old earth banking along the essses, one of my favourite places to watch, epecially at night?

2. Have they cut down the wonderful old Scots pines, which in my opinion are so evocative of the only public part of the track which has remained unchanged over the years? Those trees have seen more races and action than Whistling Jack Smith. If so, this would be an act of envirmental and historic vandalism by the ACO.

Can anyone shed any light?

May it please his Lordship to note that Messrs Ladbrooks also reckon Bath are going to get a right old kicking. Shep will be crying into his beer.

But I hope it's a good match, you never know. Have a top day out!
