Can anyone suggest a way I might get access to the internet while I'm down at LM?
Gilles - if I get no offers, is there an Internet Cafe near the track? Within cycling distance...
Sorry for you Smokie but I don't see any cyber cafe really near to the track. the nearest Internet access from the track that I know is mine! What's the use of the Web, Is it to moderate the forum? gilles.trahard@voila.fr

Hi, as a new user do not know if I am doing this right but here goes. My name is Paula, I live in Manchester. Just been dumped by boy freind, the problem that I have is that we had booked for the 24hr leman race. I have not been before. I have tickets for a camp site called Maison Blanche. Is this far from the track? What is security like. My best friend Jayne, has aggreed to come in boyfreinds place but we are worried that two 24 year old girls on their own may be at risk. Or are there plenty of English men and women that use this site. We do like to party, what are the bars and night life like. Hope there is some one that can help. Paula.XXXXX
HI Paula, There's not only English boys who can help you, I know at least one French one who will be pleased to do it. Which day do you planned to arrive? Depending of it, they're some places to visit, not only race and car related. If you'll be here on Friday evening, we'll be pleased to invite you at our lunch in a wonderful French restaurant. In case of questions, don't hesitate to ask, ... ... there's probably no one that we can't answer. Gilles

Club Arnage / Help / 24h TV coverage on French TV
|

TV coverage by local TV is quite poor The most you'll be able to see, if it's like last year, it's the 2 first and the 2 last hours of the race on France 2, th public french TV. What is more nice to see the race on Tv is to be seat in front of an ACO giant screen with some mates... ... or if your'e an ACO member on the old museum, where you can be cut a little of the sound and where you can have a rest. Club Arnage / General Discussion / New Meeting Idea for Friday Afternoon
|
on: May 08, 2003, 06:13:11 pm

A new place to meet on Friday Afternoon Having a dinner with KP and two danish guys we discover a new palce to meet, a wonderful cocktail bar. It's called "Le Saint Flaceau" and it's a reaaly smart and soft and quiet atmosphere. You feel like if you're invited in the lounge of someone. As it's located just next to the Jacobins I suggest a meet on Friday afternoon just before or better after the parade. And an after-parade could also be an introduction to a Flambadou dinner. Many of you have promised to go to eat at le Flambadou and they never come. Can we trust Anglo-saxons people? Gilles

Dear RS2 babe,
I've got a piece of solution for you.
I'll have an available condo during the week of the race, located just 150m from the railway station. It's a two-room condo with a two-people bedroom, a little lounge, a kitchen corner and a bathroom.
As I'm not sure you're interested, because it's not really a campsite, please let me know your interest asap.

Bike Rental Price
As it's a simple private system and I don't want to worry about days or hours...
... It would be between 60 and 100 Euros for the whole week, from any day to any day.
And it would be VTT because they're quite better to ride along the circuit.
Make all of you know me your interest because I need to book them
