WOW!!  Friday nights display was AWESOME!!!  No idea who was responsible or whose house was mortgaged to pay for them all, but all I can say is stunning!!!

I think the display you're talking about was actually in the far corner of Karting Nord at the Porsche Club Enclosure. It lasted for ages and it seemed everybody stopped to watch.

It was part of our Porsche Club of Great Britain event so no houses mortgaged - just lots of Porsche owners treating everyone to a great display!

Not sure which member was responsible for organising the fireworks - or how he got them through customs!

Sadly I wasn't there on Friday night but the guy who let them off was camped just behind us in the second field.

He let a smaller amount off on Saturday night and when I talked to him he estimated that it cost him over £500!

There you are Andy!!! Just got back on-line today, for one reason or another I couldn't find you in the darkness so ended up finding a spot further down the site.....

The fireworks were unreal, i gave up trying to have a kip and sat outside watching them  Smiley
