If any one knows who was responsible for the most amazing firework display (X2) near the roundabout just outside Houx Annexe, then please send on my regards. Damn good show  Cool Cheesy

And a great weekend it was to. Can't say the same for the weather forcasts that were available. although the weather was brilliant so good result there too.

Hear Hear!!!  One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Our group have already decided we are going for it next year too!! Although safety might come into it as the state we were in for most of the weekend I don't think we should be let anywhere near fireworks!!  Grin

 Wink

As said on another post, I will take a bow on behalf of myself and our team for that one. You'll be able to tell who we are for the massive 'tree' flagpole always adorning our camping area.

Glad you enjoyed, we'll be back next year. Hopefully the Lotus Europa will be fixed for more roundabout action and I'll have the Stylus up and running for some hooning around!!

Bring on 2004, the fireworks WILL be bigger and better - as always,
Mark

What happened to the Lotus? thought it was lacking it's usuall mental appearances  Huh Huh

Tree flag pole was a bit "bent" on the tip this year!!!

and i see Houx Annexe got it's own special mention in the sun newspaper this weekend, with a note of the naked lads on the roundabout (female reporter) Roll Eyes

Wow! I saw the 'flagpole' and marvelled as to how you got it up there - assuming it wasn't a naked tree of course.
I especially liked the beer can right at the top.  Grin

Dead trees were few and far between this year, so we convinced ourselves we'd still be able to see the flag when the wind dropped with that one... shame it wasn't as tall as last year though!

Marky, you seem to have forgotten our pledge to take the roundabout a stage further next year...

The Europa had a few problems on the Friday (drive shafts I think). Did any one catch it in the drivers parade???. I didn't get down to LM until the Saturday, so was a little dissapointed to miss it on the round-about this year. There's always next year though!

Can I assume we are talking about a s*#t brown Austin Allegro. I have managed to source a NOS kit for 50 quid. Still leaves me 450.

Cheers................... Still walking though.
