Sorry for confusion. But both were from the caravan shop.
Solar shower, nuff said by Smokie.
Electric power shower bought at caravan shop. Shifts a gallon of water in under a minute. Sorry threw the packet away weeks ago, nothing written on pump except "Made in China - Peoples Republic Portable Shower Manf Co Ltd." Was the last one in the shop. Caravan acessory place is more likely to have it rather than a camping outlet like Millets.
good luck.

I've seen them before Smokie, but Andy is referring to an electric one that plugs into the cigar lighter.
Some guys on Expo had something similar last year. They'd also built a wooden surround for an a support over the top to hang the shower head from. Filled up a dustbin with warm water and was enough for 6 of them to shower with some left over.
Great idea, I just haven't managed to find a suitable pump yet.

Check your local breakers yards for abandoned/scrap caravans. they all have an electric water pump and or shower.

Thanks Andy
I'm trying to get hold of an old caravan fridge too so that we can have it powered on gas

If you have a genny you could use a beer pump, have been informed that they are ideal as they have a built in anti flow back valve or what we use is a windscreen washer pump to a 12 volt supply, this has been on the test bed now for some months and to qoute IanB, it's boss.Hope this helps.

Surely a beer pump would be better for beer than showering?

All depends if you are showering in beer, hard us from Liverpool, as stated before for that week water is banned that goes for drinking and showering.
