Flicking through it on sky+ and can only describe the coverage as shite. Maybe just me but show me the cars on track instead of studio crap.

Agreed, very poor production, obviously done on the cheap by Motors TV, very few camera's out and about around the circuit, no timing screens. deleted the coverage.

I switched on to it three times and all three times was mat by Alain de Cad and two others chatting in the studio. Didn't actually see a single car on track (except on the screens in the background of the studio.
Very disappointing!

Did see "Motors TV" branded camera crew around the track occasionally but they were mobile cameras. Maybe it was the same bloke every time? Very "budget"!

Doesn't sound good though. Was miffed that I'd forgotten to set the recorder for the shows. Not now.

Another vote for "utter crap" from me.

I watched for 30 mins or so on sunday and gave up. Alan de Cadanet, who is normally just about tolerable, appeared to have taked a handful of ritalin tablets such was his dreary style. They did not show a single car racing on track. Honestly, it was so woeful and beyond amateur it was embarrassing. In a word; shite.

It is very hard to disagree with the overwhelming view that this coverage was dreadful - so I won't.  Possibly the worst motorsports TV programme / coverage I have ever seen.

On reflection, I think you might be right. I certainly can't think of a worse one.

I was thinking to my self, what was worse, the LM Classic coverage or the music awards (Mobos or Brits?) with Sam fox and Mick fleetwood.
On reflection at least the music awards had cringe value, the LM Classic live was just like watching beige.
I'd love someone from the production team to come on and give their point of view.

I thought it was great.

I can't see a single viewer who watched that programe who will now want to come to the event in 2014. Result!

Well done to The Cad for driving them away in their thousands.

Utter crap.  Reminds me of the Britcar coverage - also mainly studio chat.  The bits of video I took from the stand with my Flip are more interesting and that's saying very little!
