right then I've joined the F1 league.  Now if you could sort me out with whatever prizes your giving away, I'd be much appreciative.

Rebuttal

I've only been watching F1 closely since '98.  I do have to agree that the racing is quite boring at times and yes the officials seem to go out of their way to see Ferrari win.  However, there is 2 sides to F1: 1. What you build to race and 2. Who you hire to race what you've built.

The racing aspect does need serious attention.  And unfortunately privateers can't compete with their big budget works rivals.  But I find it interesting to watch which big team is able to get the advantage.  It's kinda exciting to see who made the biggest improvements over the winter.

Just my 2 cents.

But its formula 1.

Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with F1?

I'm a little surprised that Larbre are going to run the old Panoz GTR.  I love that car and will enjoy seeing it run but don't think it will be competitive or running for long.

Thanks again Robbo.

The reports I read had to do with the 35 hour working week.
23  Club Arnage / General Discussion / New Labour laws on: February 11, 2004, 09:07:27 pm
Can someone educate me on the new labour laws that are going to be in effect in England.  I keep reading about how these new laws are going to affect F1 teams, but haven't seen any explanation how.

TIA

you can't.  I went down last year and insisted on having a convertible.  It was all good.

I just happen to live in the same city as Kodak headquarters, good ole Rochester, NY.  Kodak, being the largest employer here, has really brightened up the place.  The rivers are the cleanest I've ever seen.  And the clouds are whiter and puffier than can be found in the most tropical of regions.  The people here are the happiest on earth.  Many have purchased new, lavish homes and fancy luxury cars.  The one thing I can't understand though, is how they can take such long vacations.

It is true that they are going to focus on digital cameras but will still produce traditional film.  But I'm not sure whether it will be available in the UK or not.

Just thought I would offer my advice.

There are a couple of ways you could search for the best deals.
1. You could go to google.com and type in any of the car hire company names and add the word coupons after it and see what comes up.  There's usually lots of deals around.

2. You could go to bnm.com.  They specialize in car hire deals.

3. You could go to each car hire site and look for specials/hot deals.  they all have a tab at the top labeled this way.  When I checked the rates at Alamo for someone coming from the UK for a week the rate was $149 for 7 days in a compact car.  If you add insurance, I believe it came to $335.

Cheers and good luck!

Let's say you are planning for 2005.  What's the easiest way to book a hotel?
29  Club Arnage / Just To Say Hi / The Yanks are coming!! on: February 09, 2004, 03:55:01 pm
Hi all!!

I'm a noob to the forum and somewhat new to Le Mans.  I hail from New York in the States (hope you don't mind a yank).  Unfortunately, I've only been to Le Mans once back in '01 and I've been eager to go back.  doesn't look like I'll make it this year.  Maybe next year.  Anywho, just wanted to say hello.
