Title: FFSA Superseries
Post by: Gilles on May 08, 2009, 11:19:35 pm
"Jours de Tonnerre", that how this second meeting of the FFSA Superseries has been called, like this Nascar-lookalike movie of the late eighties. (Sorry if I don't know its original name).

"Jours de Tonnerre", because of a storming new GT, the Audi R8 LMS, with an LM Audi-Driver, Frank Biela. Good car prepared by Oreca and quite fast during these first free trials on this very fast track.

"Jours de Tonnerre", because of one of new 09 serie, the "Racecar". It's has the look, the smell, the odor and the fun of Nascar. These cars aren't so fast (1.25 against 1.13 for the fastest GT1 and 1.09 for the DTM), but this race is made for the show, and its economic formule allows to little teams to have as much fun running these cars than we have fun to see them.

"Jours de Tonnerre", because storming american muscles seem unbeatable. Porkies, BMWs and other Italian ladies can compete with Corvette C6R and Saleens on one of the fastest european tracks.

"Jours de Tonnerre" but also storming memories with the mix of Caterhams and GT of the 90's. Good to see back to the track first Dodge Vipers, Venturi 400, Lambos,...

... and because "Jours de Tonnerre" means storming days and not only a single day, all these cars and drivers will write anothers stories until Sunday evening.
