Never mind Spyker, that might be good suggestion for the boys out there. Take a look, I hope they've got their waterproofs and galoshes.
And plenty of vaseline, obviously...

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

H, I truely hope for them out there that this is some old picture you're showing. If not, they should head to the nearest supermarket to get some bin bags. The picture looks like some serious upside down bin bag time.

Looks a bit damp!
Remember the troubles that the closed cars had in 2000? -condensation, dodgy electrics, sodden drivers scrotums.
I tell you, zinc and castor oil cream. Don't go anywhere without it.
I don't want to mention schadenfreude, but it's about 18deg outside, the sun is shining, and my underpants are in absolutely tip-top condition.

Oh i remember that flood in HA .... we had gone on pitwalk leaving the tent open for fresh air purposes, then got diverted into the beer tent when it started chucking it down..... had an indoor swimming pool by the time we got back!!!!  Shocked

Pleased to hear about the tip top condition of the underpants tho.... wonder if that still holds true on 20 June!    Huh

In 97 I was in Musee and the bogs started back filling and spilling down the hill. The rush was on to move the tents before the 'lava flow' reached.

I'm getting ready to fly down in a couple of hours and bringing sunshine with me!  Its nice & sunny here in Cincinnati and the forecast for Sebring tomorrow is sunny with temps in the mid 70's...wohoo! Perfect weather for a race.  Jesus I hope those guys were able to keep their stuff dry, I too was caught up in the LM monsoon of 2001.
