Sounds like we need to dig out the Viz Profanisaurus for some more fish related 'double entendres'.

Felix, what happened to the Commer?

Thanks for that Mr. Chenet.
I'll set aside some rock eel for you.

I'm currently trying to get a good deal on the ferry crossing for the Daewoo and chip van trailer.

Here's the ferry.  Any one know if the ferry company is any good as I hear the onboard bar is a bit small?

Thanks for your concern.

I'm afraid after the engine finally expired I considered selling the van on e-bay but a guy from Crawley came and had a look (he seemed to know a lot about them) and said it was shite  Cry

So I eventually successfully sold it to a guy in Texas called Will who's using it for his motorbike business.

I took the old fryers and stuff out first and made a chicken house out of them.

Hopefully the chickens will be fat enough by June so that I can bring them along to the race so that I can offer chicken in a basket for sale.

.....along with the battered sausage

I've been on that ferry!!  I was only about ten at the time but as I recall it was a pleasant journey. Certainly not as many people being sea-sick as on the Vomit Express.

Thanks you for your concern sir.

I was considering scallop shells but these have been devalued since they became common place in many of the sea front rock shops in Southend.

I was thinking about bringing one of those credit card machines to Le Mans in June (I'm hoping business will be BRISK) but I haven't worked out how to hook it up to the phone line.

I understand from other posters that there's plenty of free electric in MB campsite (I'll leave the generator at home) as the wires hang from the trees.  Is there free phone lines as well?

My Auntie Gladys has a big glass bottle full of 1p and 2p coins so I'll have a good float if anyone needs change.

All these practical problems are doing my head in.

What's the best overland route from Grimsby to Le Mans??

Felix , your gas is in Limited Quantities so shouldnt be an issue on a freight ticket.

If you get stuck i will ask rich to get some Haz Labels for you.

If you are a real person that is.

Felix, the 2000 ltrs  propane, well yes,I understand that bit, but the "Dangerous Goods" ? Are they those three headed Halibut I heard of being landed near Seascale?.....

Loads of dangerous loads get into the country via the underground route, why not be the ONLY legit cargo on the Chunnel?

I had a good deal on some fish from around that area last year.  They worked out be excellant value as they had an extra backbone so I could get 3 good sized fillets from them.

I was a bit put off with the big bulging eyes though  Lips Sealed
