Anyone have experience of the traffic from the circuit on the Sunday after the finnish.  Also from the entrance how far would it be on foot to the nearest village or Bar?

Stu

I imagine there's not that much traffic to Calais (?) on sunday afternoon. The circuit is close to a motorway and traffic usually clears quite quickly.
You will have to haul yourself for about 25 meters from the main entrance to the nearest bar.  Grin

The possibility of me getting to Spa is increasing.

What are people's plans

- arrival day
- camping/hotel arrangements

Paddy can you PM me the details for the place you stayed in earlier this year please?

I'll be there from saturday morning on. Depending on the weather I'll be camping or sleeping in the car.

Hi Smokie,

Don't know if Paddy already sent you the info you needed, but this is the website of the place we stayed at, really good place to be, next to a fine restaurant and bar.

http://www.laj.be/html/en/hostels/malmedy/aubergesmalmedy_en01.htm

Just give them a ring, they are very helpfull and do speak english and even dutch, it is truelly amazing.

What about some sort of CA meeting on saturday night. As far as I know Spa doesn't offer a shampoo bar but I'm sure a beer bar will do as well and there are plenty around the circuit. My favorite is the one on the outside of the circuit at Raidillon just behind the big wooden building on top of Eau Rouge. Actually it's just a couple of meters from where the Dallara did this (<-) last year.
