Oh - I havent even started on "The Folder" yet - mind you camping gear is still in the lock up too!!!

I am looking at new flats at the moment as its time to move onwards and upwards, have barely had time to think about LM yet....I expect it will creep up on me as usual!   Roll Eyes

I personaly think the race will be more exciting this year because of Aston and I will be following whats going on in LMP1 as the GT1 race wont be as good which is a shame, Sad

I'm excited to see what Aston can do in LMP1.  Unfortunately, last year's tv coverage largely ignored the GT1 battle in favor of some French car chasing an Audi.  Go figure.  If nothing else, I expected the US announcers to talk up the fight from the Corvette side, but they didn't touch on it too much.  Just one more reason to hop a flight to France.

Nearly last minute preping the bike for the annual pilgrimage, later than usual. Passed MOT first time. Now to find all the kit to pack.
Can't wait, all revved up now.

Decided that I had to assemble the gear today.

Ended up making myself a flagpole - as you do!

It's very British - i.e. totally Heath Robinson  Wink

Now for some 'decent' flags

Union Flag & St Georges Cross, or just good old St George?

The flag has got to be St George only.

Spent the day checking the equipment (again), and arranging yet another meeting with the Team Booze 'n' Tabs members to check Rhinos new batch of homebrew  Evil

Just received the 1983 race DVD through the post, which is going to be my brothers birthday present tomorrow.  So difficult not to watch it before I give it to him, and to re-live all of those good memories (our first year).  I had to get out the old photos and go and sit in the garden (next to a main road), and guess where I was dreaming I was...... The homebrew is good so far. I spent this evening emptying the last barrel we will use Wink

That's sort of what I was thinking.

Can get a Union & a St. George from ebay for £3.50 each.

But where can I get a CA flag?

Did a search & see that there were some printed a few years ago.
