About 10 years ago here in Holland they changed the registration on vehicles aswell, but (even worse) also coupled the computer systems. There's no way now you can have a vehicle registered, without paying Tax or Insurance. Only the MOT doesn't run through that same system.

4,5 quid? Oh well, you'll get over it  Smiley
3272  Club Arnage / It Happened To Me / Re:So it was JK on: November 02, 2004, 10:16:23 am
They weren't my pics. Someone at the Dutch formula one forum mailed them to me. According to him it was at the FoS'04, on the campingsite behind the Formula One Paddock.
Apparently JK said "Before I had this car I used to live in a house..."  Grin

Myself was at the FoS in '03. Will definitely do it again, but it's too close to the LM-weekend. I've run out of money by the end of of the 24 hours Undecided

Sounds like I had the same, I couln't choose my own homepage either.

What I did was look at the software list in my computer, figured out which programme really shouldn't be there, and tried to delete it.
It won't be deleted, but it will give you a name of a file which cannot be deleted. Let google search for that file, it will bring you to computer-anorak-fora with detailed files. Apparently there are ways to get rid' of files like that, but it seems only if you're retired or lie in bed with a broken legs (in other words, plenty of time).

It made me give up and reboot my computer completely Cry

What really helps is to get Norton or McAffee, for 25 quid a year I think it's worth it Undecided

Yes Smokie, I guess that's a plusser when you live on the Continent  Smiley

Also, big scaffolding plans, I don't want the bummer of this year repeated. We ended with one on Beauséjour with not really any use whatsoever Sad
5th of June will give us the chance to make final checks on Karting Nord before definitely coming down with all the stuff the following week.

Presume I need about two-three days to build everyting, so that's why we leave on the 12th with the truck Grin

You probably read it too fast. My LeMans weekend will last a full week. I will leave on Sunday prior to the race, gives me three days to build everything up for a 20-people party. Most people will arrive on Wednesday eavening, first night of practise.

We are concidering going the 5th aswell, just for the weekend.
3279  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:2005 on: October 19, 2004, 06:28:27 pm
I will probably leave Sunday daytime 12th June, to arrive there in the evening. If I am not allowed to enter untill Monday 7 am, I'll sleep in the car in front of the Karting Nord entrance Grin
Still hesitating to go the weekend prior aswell (practice/qually), coming Sunday our group will meet up to discuss...
