OK DelBoy, thanks for that. Can you just nip back on Wednesday and give us a follow up? Cheers.

(Will that be a good enough excuse for you? You know, genuine request for vital info typestuff?)

Friendly postman hacked a hole 18" long by 2" wide in my ancient front door for it. Bloody hell it is b.big. (not my gonads, before anyone asks)

Anyone want my spare Autosp*rt supplement now I have another?

Oh well it'll do to paper over the hole in the front door!

From grim experience the ferry companies always seem to speak with forked tongue about prices before April/May.

Last year I got Pompey-le Havre for £110 two people, 1 MG Midget. Club class both ways. Booked April and I had thought I was leaving it late but it worked out.

This year I had to go Dover Calais for about £90+ hours of extra driving both sides of the channel. Trying for Pompey again next time...

"Stop it at once!" "Stop messing about with the speed!"

That cannot possibly be a real CA tee shirt. It has to be a fake! Look at it, it's not even having to try to hold back a seething beer belly.

Robbo, something should be done about this plagiarism....

Powermite, I'd hate you to think I'm jealous or anything...

Ahh! I get it, not just a rhetorical question then...

I wonder whether to wear mine more often and wear it out, or, whether to do secret tests with tippex and "bird"© marker pen to forge the new 2005 logo on it and pass it off as next years.

You are right I'll start thinking about new heights for CA tee shirts from now on. After all, who wants last years tee shirt, huh?

Any stunts I undertake from now on, will be suitably CA'ed and photographed.

My missus has worn it as a nightie, but sadly, no pictures allowed... Cheesy

What a shame. My brother in law had a 356 coupe back in '66. The original engine had "lunched" and it was running on a1500 Beetle lump, but it was a nice car. If he sees that picture it'll make him cry.

No I don't hate him so I wont show it to him.

Congratulations on top notch piece of blagging, well done. Mrs Bill said on Thursday "Whyn't ya go, you know you ought to?" she was right wasn't she? Damnit I wish I had sold the car or summat. Glad you had a great time.... Roll on 2006 exactly! But I will be there next June and no missing out the shampoo bar then either.

Oh Bl**dy hell. I made a pretty good, class winning model of 728 in 92 sqn markings, many years ago so that picture is heartbreaking.  Sad Sad Sad

Less heartbreaking is the possibility of selling my old stock of kits on eBay, must hustle off over to see how rich I could be. Might finance a visit to the Classic Le Mans next year.

I just found this USA link, might be helpful. Sshows studs and lug nuts (as our cousins so cheerfully calls 'em)

Isn't there an owners club for the Hillman or Singers? I'd think they could source some new studs for the mighty Commer, studs were basically universal round the Rootes Group back then weren't they. It sounds a bit daft but can't the nearest Peugeot Dealer get them from Rootes/Chrysler back catalogue items?

I know I can still get studs from my Midget if I need them, but the Midget uses a real rubbish type of fine threaded junk as  studs. If they should be of interest let me know.
