Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how the electric hook up works in Houx please...

Do you have to pay for it (and if so how much)?

Also, is there a hook-up per pitch or do you need an extension lead to connect to a communal supply (and if so, how long, and aren't there wires trailing everywhere?!!)?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Mark.

I was waiting for this to arise!

The electrics is included in the price on Houx.

The pitches are often 100meters from the electrics post!!!!

There are not always enough electrics to go around but if arriving before friday you will have no problem. Last year Houx was almost empty anyway!

You will need a French style two pin adapter. If you are in a motorhome/caravan you will need to get the two pin to 16Amp adapter avaliable from all caravan dealers.

Last year we went to Carrefor and bought a french 100m extension cable 16Amp. 16 Amps is essestial otherwise the cable will burn before the box trips!! It cost less than 20GBP which was a true bargin!!!

As the electrics points are permenant they are much safer than the pinching of electrics on MB
