You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Earlier this year we had "The David's Dad can't make it thread" so this thread is for all you poor unfortunate souls that can't make it in 2006.

Register your name here, and all messages of sympathy, condolence, gloating etc can be kept here and shared by you all.
Just think how comforting they will be for you when you are stuck here in Blighty at a family wedding or other such trivial event while we are flying the flag and enjoying ourselves.

Right that has decided me! New knee or no new knee I will be there. The surgeon advised me it was going to take a long time to get the strength back, but I'll be there hobbling up (down?) to the good old (new) 'poo bar...

I wonder whether the concessions will be in the same place in the new Village...

 Huh

The disabled facilities could be marvellous - I'd keep this going for a few years.

One of our team had a knee op and we had visions of cases of beer under the seat of the wheelchair etc, but he recovered too quickly

ISTR Pidge was due to have yet another bit replaced before Sebring this year which would have impaired his mobility and cast the whole thing into doubt for him.

However the thought of missing Sebring caused a miraculous recovery.

Not sure yet.  Will need to see how the streamlined look suits me.  Wig is ready and waiting in case I look like a circus freak.   Undecided

Heard today that one of our regulars, Techno tom, is expecting his first child on June 18th. The man has persuaded his sister in law to be his wifes birthing partner so that he can still come to Le Mans with the boys.
I am not one accepting excuses for for not being able to make it every year but I will make allowences in this case and say this above and beyond the call of duty. It remains to be seen wether he sticks by his decision come June but if he does,  wow, even more partying.

LOL!!!    That's what I like to see - dedication to the cause!!!   Lola - one day you're going to be in BIG trouble.   Anyway,  I thought sex was banned around nine months before Le Mans  Huh

Thank god you're not into motorbikes.  The poor girl could be named Yamaha or Ducati.  I do know a boy called Vincent. Hmmm
