Having fallen foul of the "lets get married two weeks before Le Mans 2009" rule, it falls to me, to remind all male attendees of the greatest weekend on earth, to keep it firmly in their pants for the next few weeks.

We are approximately 9 months away from LM2012, and if she gets up the duff now, you'll be staying at home not just in 2012, but throughout your childs life.

Should you require a release during this time of abstinence, please see Big H, for a list of "midgets with piles" porn sites, and Andy Zarse for advice on the most appropriate sock to use in such an emergency.

Thank you for your attention

I'm trying to work out why this warning should only apply to the male contingent of LM goers.  Surely the same applies to the birds who attend as well.

When I first got bitten by the LM bug I wondered when the optimum time to have a sprog would be so it didn't screw with my week away.  Turns out 'never' was the best time - especially once Sebring, Spa, and Petit got added to the list.

Not wanting to put further dampers on this but when I was planning my monkeys, I made sure that "wellington boots" were worn from the months of August right through to October just to be safe! It worked! Both were born safely outside the LM window.

You know it makes sense Rodney.....  Grin

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

It has been pointed out before Brad, but there's no harm in bringing it to the attention of younger folk every now and then.

Better still, wear your wellies all year round and then there'll be more fuel to go round for the rest of us. Evil

Had a bit of luck.

My son was born on the 21 of may 09.

so only had to skip one year.

LM and Spa are now safe for the next 14 years.

He's allowed to come along when is 16 years

Not planning a second child either

Don't ask me, the sock had gone missing when I came home from the pub on Boxing day with five pints in me...

And lo, a junior Zarse was born on 6 October, and Chris Zarse has one baking at the moment too. The buggers keep you awake at night even when you're not at home.

Brad I would piss my pants if you ever had one to coincide with Le Mans.

It wouldn't overly surprise me either....

Unfortunately, having been trying for a sprog for nearly 2 years, I probably wouldn't care that much if that's the way it happens - Sadly for my child, it would grow up believing that Daddys aren't allowed to see children on their birthdays, in a similar vein to the father christmas and easter bunny lies that we all tell children Smiley

Hearty congratulations Andy, I shall be raising a glass or 2 of Henry Westons Vintage cidre to celebrate the arrival of junior tonight. Spare room is your saviour and a good glug of night nurse, that or go away on extended business trips, worked for me Wink
On the up side, just think in a few years they'll be coming to LM. My lads first trip will be next year to the classic Whoohoo Grin
