There are rumours, basically spread by austrian news agencies, that Alex Wurz is going to sign a Deal with Peugeot for Le Mans 2008. Sounds like a good deal for Peugeot, Wurz knows how to win at Le Mans (youngest winner ever in 1995) and has also the reputation of being someone who can develop a car.
With Villeneuve (NASCAR) and Bourdais (F1) most likely not availbale for 2008, they'll need one more driver though

Let's hope Wurz will be a little friendlier towards the public, compared to the F1-approach Villeneuve had this year

Two ends I think? Alex is by all accounts a nice guy, Simonwhohasalife (who is LM'ing with us again in 2008) has been doing his pit board at GP's this year so we might have an in to him if someone can smuggle Simon into the Paddock?!

Wurz in german almost sounds like Wurst, meaning sausage. So the song goes: Everything has an end, only the sausage has two

OK, back to the Wurst ... ah Wurz: According to same reports he is already testing a Peugeot 908 today at Le Castelet, together with Minassian and Gene.

Wurz knows how to win at Le Mans (youngest winner ever in 1995) Werner! Unless Alex was secretly hidden in the boot of that black McLaren, I'm appalled at your lack of LM knowledge!! ?? He won in 1996 in the TWR Jag sorry Porsche with Manuel "The Waiter out of Fawlty Towers" Reuter and Ravy Davey Jones, formerly of The Monkees

OK - just one digit wrong - can I still claim it was just a typo? Of course you're right! And yes, the car was a real bastard: I think it was born as a Jaguar chassis, sold to Mazda when the Jaguar TWR team closed, disappeared and resurfaced a while later in reinhold Joest's workshop.

I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.
