Matt,
I'd have to agree with ya.  Single seater racing sucks these days.
Give me the sportscars, tin-toppers and the bikes.  Leave the open wheelers to the girlie boys who want to be F1 princesses.

John,
I'll play the devils advocado and say that I enjoy one particular type of open-wheeled, single seat racing that kickes all other arses  Grin

Whoops Steve, agree with you there.  Didn't mean to insult any of the straight line rocket men by lumping them in as "single seaters".  Ah hell, you know what I meant...  Wink

All well & true but the Champ Car season looks like it'll blow F1 well out of the water, last weekend the first 13 cars finished within 20 seconds of each other & from reading race reports it was quite an action packed race, oh if only I had satellite to watch it Sad

Ah yes, when you bring out the pace every five or ten laps, cars tend to remain close together.  I've been to a hell of alot of CART races over the years and both CART and the IRL are a bad joke now.

Sorry some of you guys WON'T be with us!

Got my tickets too. I'm told Donington is a great spectating circuit so I will be there with the Magic Midget, clutch hydraulic pipe permitting! So for the occasiom I will break out the venerable 2004 Club Arnage tee shirt for the last time before it is Honourably retired into its own Glass Exhibition case for sale on eBay Grin

OK, OK only joking, not for eBay but for safe keeping at home of course......

See you there!
